How My Company in Comics collects, uses, stores, and protects your personal information when you use our website and services.
Effective date: January 1, 2026. This Privacy Policy describes how My Company in Comics ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and shares information about you when you visit mycompanyincomics.com, contact us, or commission a custom comic book project. By using our website or services, you consent to the practices described in this policy.
We collect information that you provide directly to us β such as your name, work email, company name, role, project brief, and billing details β when you fill out our contact form, request a quote, or engage us for a project. We also collect limited technical information automatically, including your IP address, browser type, device information, referring page, and pages visited on our website. This is gathered through standard server logs and cookies.
During the production of a custom comic, we may also collect information you choose to share about your team β names, roles, photographs, anecdotes, internal documents, and other materials needed to write and illustrate the comic. We treat this information as confidential.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your project information or interview content to train AI models or for any purpose unrelated to your project.
We share your information only with: (a) our print partners and the AI service providers that power our automated production pipeline, all of whom are bound by confidentiality obligations; (b) service providers who help us operate our business (hosting, payments, email); and (c) authorities, when required by law or to protect our legal rights. We never share your project content publicly without your written permission.
"We do not sell your data, and we do not use your project content to train AI models. Period."
We retain your project files, briefs, and final deliverables for as long as needed to support reprints, legal obligations, and our archival records. Marketing inquiries that do not lead to a project are deleted within 3 months. You may request earlier deletion at any time, subject to limited legal exceptions.
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, to object to certain processing, or to withdraw your consent. To exercise any of these rights, email us at contact@mycompanyincomics.com. We respond within 30 days.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information. However, no system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of information transmitted over the internet.
Our team operates from France. By engaging with us, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses for international transfers.
Our services are intended for businesses and adult professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated through our website or by email if appropriate.
