The terms governing your use of mycompanyincomics.com and the custom comic services we provide.
Effective date: January 1, 2026. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the My Company in Comics website and the custom comic book services we provide. By using our website or engaging us for a project, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
My Company in Comics is a creative studio that produces custom comic books for businesses. Our work is powered by an automated AI pipeline guided by us, the founders, alongside trusted print partners. References to "we", "us", or "our" mean My Company in Comics.
Quotes provided by us are valid for 30 days unless otherwise specified. A project is considered confirmed only once a written agreement (a Statement of Work or signed quote) has been countersigned by both parties and an initial deposit has been received. Until that point, we have no obligation to begin work.
Each project follows our standard four-phase process: Brief, Script, Art, and Print. Each phase requires your review and approval before we move to the next. Two rounds of revisions are included per phase unless otherwise stated. Additional revisions are billed at our standard hourly rates.
"Two rounds of revisions per phase. Beyond that, we keep working β we just bill for the additional time, transparently."
Project fees are set out in your Statement of Work. Standard payment terms are 50% on signing, 25% on script approval, and 25% on print delivery, unless otherwise agreed. Invoices are payable within 30 days of issue. Late payments accrue interest at 1.5% per month or the maximum allowed by law, whichever is lower.
Upon full payment, you receive perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free rights to use, distribute, and reprint the final comic for your internal and external company purposes. We retain ownership of source files, working sketches, and the underlying creative process, and we retain the right to display the final comic in our portfolio and case studies unless you specifically request otherwise in writing.
Materials you provide to us β interviews, photographs, internal documents β remain your property. You grant us a limited license to use them solely for the purpose of producing your project.
We treat all information you share during the project as confidential. We do not disclose, publish, or share your project content with anyone outside the production team without your written permission.
You may cancel a project at any time. If you cancel after the project has started, you are responsible for paying for the work completed up to the cancellation date, plus any non-recoverable third-party costs (printing, illustrators on retainer). Deposits are non-refundable once we have begun work.
We deliver our services with reasonable skill and care. We do not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted or error-free, and our services are provided "as is" except as expressly stated in your Statement of Work.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or related to a project is limited to the total fees you paid us for that project. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost profits or lost business opportunities.
These Terms are governed by the laws of France, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any disputes will be resolved exclusively in the competent courts of Paris, France.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
